Our Students Sowmya And Srinath As Being A Part Of Photography Event

With pinterest worthy photographs donning the front pages of magazines, social media platforms and art pieces, its widespread popularity has significantly boomed over the years.

The market for kids photography has crossed global borders and has been recognised by some of the world’s most prestigious magazines, such as Vogue and the Journal of the Photographic Society.

At team.i – The Entertainment and Media Institute, some of our students were given the opportunity to be a part of one such photography event, The Kids PhotoShoot that was conducted in Malleswaram, Bangalore on the 19th and 20th of March, 2022.

Two of our students, Sowmya and Srinath, were given the responsibility of handling the styling and makeup and the overall coordination of the event respectively.

Apart from that, they handled some of the technical aspects of the show, including the camera setting and techniques, as well as the lighting and backstage coordination that was a crucial part of ensuring that the event ran smoothly.

Through events like this, the practical skill set, learning opportunities and networking skills that students are exposed to go beyond what can be achieved by simply following the conventional classroom method of learning.

Sowmya and Srinath had an incredible experience being a part of the Kids Photoshoot this March and look forward to many more opportunities similar to this, allowing them to expand their learning about the event industry.
