team.i Students Celebrated Make Music Day With HARMAN India And A.R. Rahman
Do you enjoy musical concerts?
Are you an A.R. Rahman fan?
An expression of the purest form of art, music is something that can bring communities together, in good times and bad.
On the 21st of June every year, HARMAN, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. focused on connected technologies for automotive, consumer, and enterprise markets, organized a musical evening in keeping with its annual tradition of celebrating World Music Day which is observed on June 21 every year. Popularly called ‘Make Music Day’, this day marks the importance of music in everyone’s life.
This year, students at team.i-The Entertainment and Media Institute were invited to be a part of this incredible event through one of the many industry projects that they are offered as part of the curriculum at team.i.
Through initiatives such as this, students first-hand experience events in real time, being able to put into practice their skills, knowledge and theoretical understanding by practically working on events of this nature.
Meeting with some of the biggest music personalities, managing directors and representatives of the HARMAN Group, proved to be an experience of a lifetime for our students.
The interaction, feeling of community and the stimulating ambience allowed them to really explore the diverse opportunities that the field of event management has to offer.
Through experiential learning such as this and many other similar opportunities, at team.i we go the extra mile to deliver a 360 degree educational experience.
We believe that while in-class training and conditioning are crucial in a student’s overall development, with an industry such as event management, practical exposure is just as important, if not more.
We hope this blog post helped give you a glance into one such event experience that our students were recently a part of.
